‘Personal request’: Moscow agrees to Trump's call to pause Kyiv strikes until Feb 1

Moscow has agreed to a one-week pause in strikes on Kyiv, until February 1, following a personal request from US President Donald Trump. The Kremlin stated the move aims to facilitate negotiations, while Trump cited extreme cold as his reason. Ukraine's President Zelenskyy welcomed the announcement, pledging reciprocal restraint if Russia refrains from attacking energy infrastructure.
